Born in Zimbabwe in 1963, Larry Norton grew up on a game farm in North-East Zimbabwe.

'Bushbuck Study'

A bushbuck ram cautiously moves from cover and approaches the muddy and drying reaches of a channel of water.
' Ilala Grove'

Early morning light touches the fronds of a grove of Ilala palms and the bush beyond. A lone buffalo bull emerges from the thicket, alert and watchful. Oblivious to any tension, Red Billed Oxpeckers continue to pick and prod around his head.
'Matobo Hills (Mana Pools) '

The Matobo Hills lie in the South West of Zimbabwe. Extraordinary rock outcrops and formations characterize this unique area. Rock paintings from the San people adorn caves, clefts and overhangs and speak of the endemic game. The terrain is a favourite haunt of the Black Eagle.
'View from The Victoria Falls Hotel'

Early morning below the Victoria Falls Hotel, in the dry season. Haze obscures and softens receding ridges and bush. Deep in the Batoka Gorges runs the great Zambezi River. The graceful arc of the bridge spans the chasm between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Drenched with light, spray rises from the Victoria Falls.
